Agains my usual choice of destinations, things worked out in such way that I ended up visiting the Benidorm area in Spain. The contrast couldn't have been any larger - a heavily over-exploited area, buzzing with flocks of anually migrating humans to do whatever they do. Never have I ever been shocked so much that our species can scar the landscapes we do. However I am quite fon of architecture once in a while, the Benidorm is a cacophony of screamingly large and ugly appartments for -I guess- leasure puroses, where every sign of grace, subtility or refined enginering is absent. Among these "homoliths", relics of a distant glorydays remain. The remnants of the old identity of the region and the starting and blooming tourism in the 70's are still visible along the coast.
